A Baby Boomer child, Kathie Fitzpatrick is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up enjoying all the local color and beauty of the area. From enjoying family trips over to northern California beaches, to exploring now famous landmarks of the area. From her father, Henry, taking her to lunch at the renowned Cathay House in Chinatown when she was a little girl, to her mother, Ruby, taking her and her siblings to the historic "Playland at the Beach," where the famous 18-foot character, "laughing Sal," would greet everyone who arrived, to the San Francisco Zoo and Golden Gate Park, Kathie had wonderful childhood memories in the San Francisco area.
